Brooklyn Owl began in 2010 when Annie Bruce started handcrafting high quality accessories for her daughter, a small, personal act that grew into a beloved brand employing local seamstresses and reaching stores around the world.

Built on the idea that kids deserve spaces where they feel free to be exactly who they are, Brooklyn Owl became more than a shop. It was an open, joyful experience rooted in play, self-expression, and belonging. It caught the attention of Good Morning America and the Wall Street Journal, and became a cherished part of the Brooklyn community through local events that brought families together.

That spirit never went away, it just found a new home. Today, Brooklyn Owl lives on as a hub for downloadable math resources that carry that same open, accessible energy into the classroom.
